Red Leaves 03:51
All that I have left as I leave for home is the peeling skin of a sunburn. Leaving for this icy city and it all could have been a dream, But you are waiting for me. Red Leaves look like hearts, collecting them to fill my own. If you push too hard, it'll break, and people too. She never bought a hat, through all her winters in New York. She never thought she'd be here so long. Sometimes it goes too far and there's glass on the floor. Little cuts on her little fingertips, but cleaning it all up is when it hurts. How to endure all this stillness, the cold quiet that takes over. If I have thicker skin maybe I wouldn't be in this sorry state. There's another storm coming in and she is broken again. The scars on her hands, constant reminders of the emptiness within.

The Fix 02:56
With a flash of red and the slam of a door I'm off again. It's cold and angry grips your mind and dampens your thoughts. Its in that instant that everything is answered, What drives a person to do almost anything To make it stop. Blue light that fogs your vision a thin slice, A prick a twist sends you reeling. Blue light that fogs your vision a thin slice, A prick a twist sends your reason to the wind. And on the lowest addicts level, anything to cease the pain Beg, beg. Slip through the haze, gravitate to the tug the pull and Your body's on fire. This is the answer, the fix that makes the pulsing stop and The tunnel end. Feeling nothing at all. And you vow to never go back there, to the pain the end.

Twenty-five 05:36
She wore a ribbon around her finger Thin and strong and easy to conceal. There were orchids in their room to match the curtains And they felt like royalty wrapped up in white. He sees the pain in her eyes so he won't cry. Only Twenty-five and he just got his life sentence. Only Twenty-five and it hit him like a brick. Where do we go from here, where do we go from here. Do you want to know how it ends, I'm not sure you do. Where do we go from here, where do we go from here, Do we forge ahead or do we pray? He sees the pain in their eyes so he won't cry, they have so much hope but what is left when it takes over. Only Twenty-five and he sees his everything fading away Only Twenty-five what good is loving anymore? He sees the pain in her eyes, so he won't cry. The string around her finger is still there, but for how long?
